Emerald AI, Google, NVIDIA Launch AI Energy Alliance

Emerald AI, Google, and NVIDIA have formed the AI Energy Management Alliance (AEMA), a coalition aimed at making AI data centers more flexible and easier for electric grids to absorb. The initiative arrives as AI factories become critical infrastructure for the intelligence era, and as operators face growing scrutiny over power demand, interconnection queues, and emissions. AEMA's premise is that scaling AI responsibly cannot be solved by efficiency inside the data center alone. It also requires coordination with utilities, grid operators, and energy markets.
