Import browser bookmarks

Migrate existing bookmarks into your launchpad in one step. Already-saved URLs are skipped automatically.

  1. 1In your browser, export bookmarks as an HTML file (Chrome: Bookmark manager → ⋮ → Export).
  2. 2Open the AIStart extension side panel and click the import icon in the launchpad header (next to Edit).
  3. 3Select the HTML file — new links are added to your launchpad and sync to the cloud when signed in.

Install (developer / beta)

  1. 1Download the ZIP and unzip the folder (e.g. aistart-extension/).
  2. 2Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions
  3. 3Enable Developer mode (top right).
  4. 4Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
  5. 5Pin AIStart, open the side panel from the toolbar, sign in on aistart.ai, then save any site.

FAQ

Is it on the Chrome Web Store?
We are preparing the store listing. For now, install from the ZIP on this page (Load unpacked).
Do I need an AIStart account?
You can save locally without signing in. Sign in on aistart.ai to sync favorites and history to the cloud.
Popup or side panel?
Both. Click the toolbar icon for the popup, or open the side panel to keep your launchpad and history visible while browsing.
Which browsers are supported?
Chrome and Chromium browsers (Edge, Brave, etc.) that support Manifest V3 extensions.
How do I import bookmarks?
Export bookmarks as HTML from Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. In the extension launchpad header, click the import icon (next to Edit), choose the file, and new URLs are added — duplicates are skipped.

Privacy

The extension only communicates with aistart.ai when you are signed in. It reads page title and URL to save favorites; cloud history is limited to tools you open from the launchpad.
